Tech Mahindra, a specialist in digital transformation, consulting and business re-engineering, has expanded its footprint in France with the launch of a new Development Centre facility in Toulouse, dedicated to projects for its existing partner (whose identity was not revealed) and customers in the aerospace industry.
The company says that “significant investments” are planned in terms of people, infrastructure, recruitment and training as a part of Tech Mahindra’s commitment to strengthening its presence in France.
Tech Mahindra’s local operation will have strategic importance by providing on-the-ground services to support growing collaboration, increasing the size of the local team, and expanding recruitment in Toulouse and Midi Pyrenees’ region.
“Toulouse continues to have a strategic importance in our Aerospace vision and this expansion is a testament for the same. Ability to offer a seamless and responsive operating model is critical to address the traditional and Digital demands of our partners” said Mr. Gaurav Gupta, Vice President and Head of Engineering Business EMEA.
The centre will have a direct link to the customer’s Toulouse operations and will provide engineering design around aerostructures, digital manufacturing solutions, aftermarket support , business IT services and consulting.
Tech Mahindra is part of the $16.9bn Mahindra Group that employs more than 200,000 people in over 100 countries. Mahindra is a partner for several Airbus Group projects in India.
