SR Technics Malaysia has been designated as Diehl Aviation Gilching’s exclusive authorized repair station of the Asia-Pacific region. The Swiss MRO service provider SR Technics will ensure maintenance, repair and overhaul services for Diehl Aviation Gilching’s customers present on this region with the support of an Original Equipment Manufacturer.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand granted airworthiness certification to SR Technics Malaysia in May 2019. The certification — valid for three years — allows the facility to repair and certify components under Thailand’s Civil Aviation Authority. It supplements the MRO supplier’s existing airworthiness certifications for component maintenance of over 800 part numbers mainly belonging to Airbus and Boeing products (including the A320, the A330 and the B737 families).

“Moving forward, we want to continue using our established maintenance facility as a platform to work with strong partners as a designated repair station for Asia Pacific,” said Thomas Kennedy, Vice-President of Component Maintenance at SR Technics.
