Spirit Airlines officially finalized its order for 100 Airbus A320neo family aircraft on January 6, 2020. Still is to be determined whether Airbus includes this contract in its balance sheet for 2019. We will know the answer in a few days. Last October, Spirit Airlines had signed with Airbus a memorandum of understanding on a mix of A319neo, A320neo and A321neo in order to meet the future needs of its fleet.
