Spairliners will further strengthen the support, service and reliability for Emirates' A380s

Emirates has decided to entrust Spairliners with component care for its fleet of Airbus A380 aircraft. Emirates operates the world’s largest fleet of Airbus A380s, which will eventually include 123 aircraft. “Component support for any aircraft is critical. But the complexity is multiplied many times over when it’s for the largest passenger aircraft – the A380s, and specifically for us, as we are its largest operator. Our association with Spairliners will further strengthen the support, service and reliability for our A380s, the flagship of our fleet, which will translate to optimized operations and a better customer experience”, comments Ammar Al-Zaben, Emirates’ Vice President Procurement Aircraft. 

Spairliners GmbH is JV between AFI-KLM E&M and Lufthansa Technik

Spairliners GmbH was founded in 2005 as an equally split joint venture between Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance and Lufthansa Technik and located with its headquarters in Hamburg, Germany. The company offers component services for the Airbus A380 and the Embraer E-Jet Family, comprising of the E170/175 and E190/195 series. The services include component access, home base stock lease, stand-alone repair, and assets optimization.
