KLM UK Engineering — a subsidiary of AFI KLM E&M — has been awarded Airframe Maintenance Support contrat from Scandinavian Airlines to perform heavy maintenance on Boeing 737NG aircraft.
Scandinavian Airlines System Denmark-Norway-Sweden, also known as SAS, signs once again with KLM UK Engineering. The subsidiary of AFI KLM E&M signed a long-term heavy maintenance contract with the airline. KLM UK Engineering will perform maintenance on SAS’ Boeing 737NG aircraft. At the time, the airline entrusted the MRO service provider with the same type of maintenance for its Fokker 50 fleet. Work will commence from 2020 in KLM UK Engineering base at Norwich Airport, where “SAS will be one of the first customers to be serviced in the newly built state of the art hangar and workshop facility”.
