During the 2019 Paris Air Show, Israel Aerospace Industries will unveil its new T-Heron UAV.
On June 4th, Israel Aerospace Industries announced the incoming introduction of its new military drone — T-Heron — on occasion of the Paris Air Show. The youngest brother of the Heron family could be used for tactical missions. It will allow to collect and transfer information to ground troops. The T-Heron can carry a 180 kg (397 lb) payload and be equipped with multiple kinds of sensors depending on the operations.
To get this new aircraft ready, IAI capitalized on its experience of the UAV field, thus reminding us this experience comes from 1.7 million flight hours in operation of the Heron’s drones family.
