The aircraft leasing company NAC finalized an order for 20 A220s. The order counted in Airbus’ 2019 order-book.
At the end of 2019, Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) finalized a Memorandum of Understanding agreed at the latest Paris Air Show. The lessor, who recently opened new headquarters in Limerick, Ireland, signed a firm order for 20 Airbus A220 aircraft. The signing occurred on the same period of Air France-KLM’s commitment on 60 A220s, affirming a strong interest for the 100-150 seat single aisle aircraft powered by Pratt & Whitney PW1500G. Both orders counted in Airbus’ 2019 order-book. NAC is today the largest lessor of regional aircraft in the world, managing and owning 500 aircraft on lease to 78 airline customers in over 50 countries.
