Nomad Technics provides AOG support to a Bombardier CL650

Nomad Technics provided Aircraft on Ground support to a Bombardier Challenger 650 in two days.

Nomad Technics provided AOG support to a Bombardier CL650. The maintenance division of Nomad Aviation AG — a business jet charter and aircraft management company — performed the maintenance in only two days. The aircraft located at the International Airport of Malaga, Spain, suffered hydraulic leak on the landing gear. After setting spare parts on the Bombardier aircraft, tests performed showed the jet could return to service. “We are proud that we have completed the AOG event on the Challenger 650 with an extremely short reaction time during the weekend”, says Roman Hug, VP/General Manager of Nomad Technics.

When the CL650 operator contacted Bombardier on Saturday afternoon, the aircraft manufacturer dispatched a dedicated “Bombardier Mobile Response TeamChallenger 300, based in Frankfurt, to Basel — where Nomad Technics opened a maintenance facility at EuroAirport in August 2018 — to enable the MRO service provider to reach the operator. “Thanks to the flexibility of the engineers and the short communication channels we could rectify the defect to the full satisfaction of the customer”, adds Heinz Koehli, Executive Chairman of Nomad Aviation.

Nomad Technics AG provides maintenance inspection and non-routine repair work on Bombardier Challenger 600, 850 series, Bombardier Global XRS, Global 5000, Global 6000 and Embraer Legacy 600 and 650 business jets. Other types include Cessna’s C525 series aircraft.
