easyJet extends its contract with Safran Landing Systems for the MRO of the landing gear of its fleet of Airbus A320.
easyJet has decided to extend its contract with Safran Landing Systems for the landing gear MRO of its Airbus A320 family fleet. The contract was signed in 2017 and is therefore extended for three and a half years. The contract covers complete overhaul and maintenance services for 68 landing gears of Airbus A320 aircraft from January 2020 to June 2023. The services will be provided by Safran Landing Systems MRO facility located in Gloucester, UK. “This new contract clearly demonstrates our ability to deliver rigorous safety standards and, at the same time, the most competitive level of services, quality and performance. It also highlights easyJet's commitment to our Gloucester site and the Safran Landing Systems’ teams are very proud of it”, said Jean-Paul Alary, Chief Executive Officer of Safran Landing Systems.
