MTU Maintenance has opened an office in the Central Business District of Singapore. The new office enlighten the group’s strategy to near the Asian leasing market through this hub. Martin Friis-Petersen, Senior Vice President MRO Programs, MTU Aero Engines, underlines the office will directly serve the community with “lessor-oriented MRO solutions”. Chief Representative Luc Morvan explains MTU Maintenance is also getting ready with “transition and exit strategies to mitigate risk for lessors and operators up to and during phase-out” since over 2,000 aircraft are expected to be retired in the Asia-Pacific region in the next ten years.
