The event offers meetings between students and professionals, conferences, stands of universities, associations and companies, as well as animations for the general public, in the presence of astronauts.
After passing through Lille and Brussels in 2021 and 2022, the Summer Space Festival will land on May 5 and 6 at Neimënster Abbey, in Luxembourg.
Organized by European students, its ambition is to promote space innovation in Belgium, northeastern France and Luxembourg.
The first of the two days of this third edition will offer meetings between students and professionals, conferences and stands of universities, associations and companies, whether they are historical actors of the space sector or startups of the New Space.
Free general public entertainment will be offered the following day.
Many astronauts, mainly European, are also expected : Pedro Duque (Spain), Reinhold Ewald (Germany), Ernst Messerschmidt (Germany), Claude Nicollier (Switzerland), Dumitru Prunariu (Romania), Thomas Reiter (Germany) and Franz Viehböck (Austria).
