The order of nearly 24,000 economy class seats will be equipped on nearly 100 Lufthansa and SWISS aircraft. The seat is 15% lighter in comparison to its predecessor, which can save airlines thousands in fuel costs and optimize cabin performance. Both seats were built with sustainability in-mind and feature lightweight structures, which will reduce carbon emissions for the aircraft.
