Lilium's first vertiport will be in Florida in 2025.

The first hub of a high-speed electric air mobility network in America will be launched by 2025 in Lake Nona, Orlando, Florida, near the city's airport. Lilium, based in Munich and developing an electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft (ADAVe-eVTOL), Tavistock Development Company and the City of Orlando announced on November 11, 2020 the country's first urban and regional air mobility network as well as Lilium's first network in the United States.

First intercity air transport hub

The first hub of a high-speed electric air mobility network in America will be launched by 2025 in Lake Nona, Orlando, Florida, close to the city's airport. Lilium, based in Munich and developing an electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft (ADAVe-eVTOL), Tavistock Development Company and the City of Orlando announced on November 11, 2020 the country's first urban and regional air mobility network as well as Lilium's first network in the United States.

20 million people

The central location of Lake Nona offers the opportunity to connect more than 20 million Floridians within a radius of 300 km, serving several major cities, including Orlando and Tampa. The Lake Nona Vertiport will create, according to the partners, more than 100 jobs in the Orlando area with hundreds more across Florida. Lake Nona offers an unparalleled location adjacent to Orlando International Airport, the home of more than half of the region's 75 million annual visitors, with a robust economy and infrastructure ready to support the U.S. launch of electric air mobility.

Florida's ADAVe network

The Florida network is part of Lilium's vision to bring regional air mobility around the world. Lilium's ADAVe, with the technology demonstrator first flew in 2019 and has a transport capacity of 5 people, will be able to cover distances of up to 300 km in one hour.
