KLM UK Engineering and West Atlantic UK extend contract

KLM UK Engineering, a subsidiary of AFI KLM E&M, and West Atlantic UK sign contract extension for airframe heavy maintenance on Boeing 737 Freighters.

A little after Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS), the British cargo airline West Atlantic UK signed airframe heavy maintenance contract too with KLM UK Engineering. West Atlantic UK decided to extend his contract covering its Boeing 737 Freighter fleet. Nigel Hiorns, Managing Director West Atlantic UK Ltd commented: “we are very pleased to announce the continuation of this working relationship and  look forward to our fleet continuing its maintenance programme at the KLM UK Engineering facilities.” Subsidiary of the group Atlantic/Swiftair, West Atlantic operates a cargo fleet of twenty-three Boeing 737-300/400 and 737-800 aircraft. It was the launch customer of the 737-800BCF.
