The Dubai-based aviation services specialist has finalised its agreement with Honda Aircraft Company to become HAC's exclusive authorised dealer in the Gulf and Middle East region.
Dubai-based aviation services specialist Jetex has finalised its agreement with Honda Aircraft Company to become HAC's exclusive authorised dealer in the region. Jetex will represent Honda Aircraft’s sales in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Lebanon, Pakistan, Jordan, Turkey and Kuwait.
The deal — signed at the Jetex FBO Terminal Dubai, Al Maktoum International Airport on 9th December — means Jetex is now the manufacturer’s sole representative for the new HondaJet, offering sales and support across the Gulf and Middle East region.
The announcement follows the original appointment of Jetex as authorised sales agent announced in May at the unveiling of the HondaJet Elite during the 2018 European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (EBACE) in Geneva, Switzerland.
The HondaJet Elite offers a range of 1,437 nautical miles (17% more than the baseline HondaJet), optimised performance planning for all phases of flight, takeoff/landing distance (TOLD) management, stability and protection with roll and AoA functions, and AFCS coupled go-around with underspeed protection.
In related news, Honda Aircraft Company announced that the HondaJet Elite has received type certification from the Japan Civil Aviation Bureau (JCAB) of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT). The company says it has booked orders in Japan for more than 10 aircraft since launching sales through HondJet Japan in June.
