Systems on display will include a new towed self-defence pod and a remote operations capability for the Heron UAV.
Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) will display a variety of defence systems at the upcoming Singapore Air show. The company's exhibition complex will include an interactive war zone display combining unmanned aircraft, multi-mission aircraft and national cyber solutions, air & missile defense systems and guided munitions.
At the exhibition, IAI will present a wide variety of strategic defense systems such as BARAK 8, Bird Eye 650, Rotem L, Green Dragon, Harop, Drone Gourd, and multi-mission aircraft.
Among the systems on display will be the new ELL-8720 towed pod developed by Elta as a self-defense solution against radar-guided missiles. The ELL-8270 is fully autonomous, requiring no power or signals from the leading aircraft.
IAI will also highlight a new capability developed for the Heron UAV. The new capability, which relies on satellite communication combined with precision automated takeoff and landing, is presented as a breakthrough in remote operations.
