Heli-Expo 2020: Airbus ends with more than 40 sales

Airbus Helicopters concludes this edition of the Heli-Expo 2020 show with a total of 38 sales announced during the two main days of the show.

A busy Heli-Expo 2020 fair for Airbus Helicopters who records more than forty sales of H125, H135 and H145 helicopters. The German operator DRF Luftrettung, one of the largest European stakeholders in the medical evacuations sector, signed for fifteen H145s and three H135s. Added to this is the retrofit of twenty H145s already part of the fleet with five-blade rotors, inherited from work on the Blue Copter program. DRF Luftrettung operates a fleet of more than 50 Airbus Helicopters rotorcraft from 35 bases distributed mainly in Germany and Austria. Likewise, the Swedish operator Svensk Luftambulans ordered three additional H145s while its fleet H145s will also be retrofitted with five-blade rotors.

For their part, the United States border guards took 16 additional H125s. Metro Aviation signed for a new batch of 12 H145s and Ascent Helicopters, specialized in aerial work, bought a third H125. To conclude, for the first time in its history, NASA became an Airbus Helicopters customer with an order for three H145s.
