The Chinese airline has selected Pratt & Whitney's EngineWise MRO service platform to monitor the IAE V2500 engines powering its first-generation Airbus A320 aircraft.
China Eastern Airlines has decided to select Pratt & Whitney's EngineWise MRO service platform for the monitoring and maintenance of V2500 engines that equip its first-generation Airbus A320 aircraft. China Eastern Airlines operates a fleet of over 292 A320 family aircraft, 229 of which owned by the airline. The duration of the contract is not specified. Launched in 2017 by Pratt & Whitney, the EngineWise MRO service platform is progressively supplemented with operators feedbacks by developing new algorithms. Pratt & Whitney had its eFAST case certified to enable V2500 equipped aircraft to benefit from complete flight data.
