KLM orders two additional Boeing 777-300ERs. The airline’s fleet will then include sixteen 777-300ER aircraft.
The Netherlands airline orders two additional Boeing 777-300ERs. The contract is valued $751 million, list price. KLM’s fleet already encompasses twenty-nine Boeing 777 aircraft, fourteen of which being Boeing 777-300ERs. This order was already registered in the manufacturer’s order book as part of the “unspecified” customers section. Boeing takes this opportunity to underline its 777-300ER is able to carry 396 passengers in a two-class cabin layout. A not so innocent specification since the Boeing 777X and the Airbus A350-1000 are competing in a trade war.
