Atlantic Airways sets a direct flight: the Faroe Islands - Paris CDG

The national Faroe airline has opened on July 1st a direct flight between Paris CDG and Vágar, in the West side of the archipelago.

Recently, a new destination became directly accessible from Roissy CDG: the Faroe Islands. Indeed, on July 1st, the archipelago national airline company offers a direct route toward Vágar Airport. This line is operated in code-sharing with Air France in A319 configured in mono-cabin with a thrice weekly servicing on Monday, Wednesday and Friday during summer (until September 31st, 2019), then with a twice weekly servicing on Monday and Friday during the winter season of 2019-2020. On Monday, the departure is at 3:30 p.m. and the landing in Vágar at 5:20 p.m. On Wednesday and Friday, the flight departure at Paris CDG is at 5:10 p.m. and the landing at 7 p.m.

Atlantic Airways was founded on March 28th, 1988 at Vágar Airport. It has now a fleet of three plains (2 Airbus A319 and 1 Airbus A320) and two Leonardo’s helicopters. Before the launch of the new route towards Paris, it regularly serviced destinations between the Faroe Islands and several cities in Denmark and neighbor countries (Scotland, Iceland and Norway) throughout the year.
