Airbus has announced that an Asian customer has become the first in the region to place a firm order for an Airbus ACJ319neo , delivery of which is planned for the second quarter of 2019. The client, which is upgrading from a “large, traditional, business jet”, is also the first new customer for the ACJneo Family. Engines and cabin outfitter have yet to be announced.
The order marks the sixth firm order for ACJneo since its launch less than a year ago. Airbus is exhibiting an ACJ319 with a new interior at this week’s Asian Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition (ABACE) in Shanghai.
The Airbus ACJ320neo can fly 25 passengers over 6,000nm/11,100km or 13 hours, while the ACJ319neo can transport 8 passengers over 6,750nm/12,500km or 15 hours.
More than 170 Airbus corporate jets are currently in service worldwide.
