The helicopter fleet of the Austrian Ministry of the Interior just welcomed two Airbus Helicopters H125s. The aircraft have just been delivered and are based in Innsbruck and Salzburg. The fleet of the Austrian Ministry of the Interior is already composed of Airbus Helicopters H135 and AS350. To carry out their missions, the H125 rotorcraft are equipped with a suite of equipment designed by Airbus Helicopters teams in Oxford, Great Britain. The package includes a dual cargo hook, plus night vision compatibility, searchlight, fire-fighting equipment including the interface for Bambi bucket operation, and TETRA tactical communications among others.
