AirAsia has taken delivery of its first A320neo. The aircraft is the first CFM International LEAP-1A powered A320neo in South East Asia and the second worldwide. Equipped with a Space Flex Cabin, the aircraft is configured with 186 seats. 

AirAsia is Airbus’ biggest airline customer for the A320 Family with a total of 575 aircraft ordered. Of these, 404 are A320neo Family, following the airline’s latest firm order for 100 A321neo aircraft placed at the recent Farnborough Airshow.

The A320neo Family has booked nearly 4,800 orders from 87 customers since its launch in 2010.
