Air Austral selects the Airbus A220 for the renewal of its short and medium-haul fleets. The three Airbus A220-300 aircraft will be delivered from November 2020 to March 2021.
Air Austral has become the first customer of the Airbus A220 in the Indian Ocean. On Saturday, October 12, the airline signed a purchase agreement for three Airbus A220-300 aircraft, powered by Pratt & Whitney PW1500G engines. The aircraft will replace Air Austral’s current short and medium-haul fleets with delivery scheduled in November 2020, December 2020 and March 2021.
