On August 7, the French company Drone Volt announced it received a new order for two drones Altura Zenith. These RPASs will be equipped with intelligent cameras PENSAR.

Aerialtronics — Drone Volt’s Dutch subsidiary — received the order from a stakeholder in the field of surveillance and inspection of power lines in Europe. In addition to the drones and their equipment, the contract includes a training for their use. It is a first experience for this new client.

These aircraft could be the first of a twenty drones fleet, comments Drone Volt. According to Olivier Gualdoni, CEO of the company, this order “once again demonstrates the growing need for inspection of power lines around the world.”
