The Hong Kong-based leasing aircraft company CALC orders 40 Airbus A321neo aircraft and converts a previous order for 15 A320neos into A321neos.
Great year start for the A321neo. After Spirit Airlines confirmed is order for a hundred Airbus aircraft, including this model, CALC (China Aircraft Leasing Group Holdings Limited), reached an agreement with Airbus for the A321neo. The Hong Kong-based holding will thus acquire 55 additional Airbus A321neos, 15 of which by converting its existing A320neo backlog into the largest model of the family. CALC already took delivery of a first A321neo and is waiting for ten more. The Chinese company’s A320 family aircraft order totals 252 planes — 87 of which have been delivered — thus include 66 Airbus A321neos.
