Cumulated orders and commitments for civil aircraft announced at Dubai Airshow 2017 have soared well past the $100bn mark — helped largely by bumper orders for the Airbus A320neo and Boeing 737 MAX. The much-anticipated Emirates order for additional A380s failed to materialize, though this was more than compensated by the Indigo Partners mega-deal for 430 aircraft from the A320neo Family.
